How Can We Assist?

At The Sphynx Cat Clothing Co., the complete satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. Check out some of our frequently asked questions below to get the information you’re looking for. Contact us with any other thoughts or questions.

Can you help me with sizing?

A size chart is provided on each item description, with hints on measuring.  The weight guides are approximate, it is generally better to go on length and belly measurements.  All of our fabrics have an element of stretch so are quite flexible too.  If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us for guidance.

Do you accept orders from outside the UK?

Absolutely.  Please see below for info about shipping timescales and prices.  Please be aware that if you are placing an order from the EU, customs and VAT charges will likely be collected from you by the relevant authorities once your parcel arrives in your country.

Can you tell me about shippping costs and timescales?

Shipping Costs are based on package weights, do be assured though that as shirts/items can vary by a few grams depending on trims etc. parcels could come in over or under quoted price.  I will never ask you to pay additional postage charges, I will however refund a proportion if the charge is significantly less.

Postage timescales are as below:

 

UK: Royal Mail 1st Class - usually delivered within 2 working days

EU: Tracked & Signed, usually delivered within  5 - 7 working days.

For EU orders, once your parcel arrives in your own country the local relevant authorities may seek customs and VAT fees from you. .

USA & Canada  Tracked and/or Signed dependent on parcel size.  7 - 12 working days.

Rest of World - please contact us before ordering to work out a shipping option/cost.

Where is the store based?

We are fundamentaly an online store, but we are proud Sphynx parents based in Staffordshire, UK.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We do strive for a quick turnaround time.  More often than not, items are dispatched within 2-3 working days.  At busier times this may be nearer to 4-5 days - please ask if something is needed in a hurry.  We ship via Royal Mail.  How long it takes to receive your order will depend on your chosen shipping option at checkout.  Please see question above regarding shipping costs.

Tell me a little about your materials?

You will find a fabric description within each store item.  Where possible, we try to used cotton jersey fabric, Oeko-tex certified.  Naturally the fleece we use is polyester.   Apart from the fleece, all shirt fabric is laundered before production, with a natural based laundry detergent.   Our premises is a smoke free home.  We do of course have 2 amazing Sphynx boys.  The sewing room is out of bounds to them, but they can be sneaky and inquisitive at times so we cannot promise that they have not been in contact with any items!  When we say our goods are hand-made, we really do mean that they are hand-made with love in our small sewing studio in our home, usually to order.  Consequently there may be small variations from time to time, these are not faults but an intrinsic part of the nature of the goods and should be accepted as such.

Do you make clothes for dogs/rabbits/tigers?

If your think your dog/rabbit/tiger fall into one of our size categories with a small custom adjustment then please go ahead and order.   However, we do have the machines and tools to turn our hand to most things - just ask.

What are the payment options?

Payments are in British pounds and we can accept credit/debit card or PayPal.   You will be guided through the process at check-out.

Can you make custom designs?

We have the machines and tools here to turn our hand to most things - do contact us to discuss.

What is your return policy?

Please ensure you check your measurements before placing your order.   If you have any problem with your order, please get in touch and we will do our very best to put it right.  If however you are unhappy with your order or it doesn't fit, return your goods within 14 days for a refund of the cost of the item or an exchange.   If exchanging for a different size and there is a price difference we will either refund you or charge the difference accordingly.  We can only accept returns that have not been worn or used and that are in 'a new and unworn' condition.  Please return the goods with the original paperwork and if possible original packaging.  We recommend returning goods to us with a tracked service as we are not responsible for goods lost in transit.  The cost of returning goods is your responsibility.     If you have a faulty item, please get in touch.  We are only human and although errors are rare, they can occur even though we quality check all through our manufacturing process.
